Welcome to Lingo Nova. These terms and conditions govern your use of our website www.lingonova.co and its translation services. By accessing and using Lingo Nova you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. We are owned and operated by TBC with offices in TBC.

1. Registration

To be able to use Lingo Nova and upload documents for translation, all clients will need to register for an account.

2. Service agreements

Ordering and acceptance

Clients will need to submit documents to their registered online portal and select the desired language they need, as well as the service type – certified or standard.
We will then provide a quote based on the word count, complexity, turnaround time, and service type of the project.
As soon as payment has been confirmed and received, an agreement is formed between Lingo Nova and the client, and we assign a native-speaking translator to the job.

Scope of work

Standard translations

– Suitable for general purposes such as marketing materials, personal correspondence, technical manuals, or other non-official uses.


Certified translations

– All provided with a signed certificate of accuracy from the translator or Lingo Nova, and are accepted by government, educational, and legal institutions.

Turnaround times

Standard Delivery

– Translations are typically delivered within 5 to 7 business days, depending on the length and complexity of the project.


Urgent Delivery

– For time-sensitive needs, we offer urgent delivery with turnaround times between 36 to 48 hours. Please note that urgent delivery is available for an additional fee.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices will be displayed in the client’s chosen currency and will include all applicable taxes, unless this has been stated otherwise
Standard and certified translations come with different price points, where the extra work required for certified translations comes with an additional fee.
All payments for orders are due on confirmation, and we accept all major debit and credits cards, and all payments are processed online securely through the website through the payment portal. Please be advised that orders will not proceed until payments have been completed.
All purchases will be accompanied by the billing descriptor: LINGONOVA, on all billing statements.

4. Confidentiality and Data Privacy

We treat all documents as confidential, and we ask all our translators to sign non-disclosure agreements with us as well as abide to strict confidentiality protocols.
Document uploads, downloads, and all other storage of documents digitally are protected by end-to-end encryption services.
We also comply with all applicable data protection laws such as GDPR. Please also read our privacy policy alongside these terms and conditions for more information

5. Quality and Accuracy

We engage only with native speaking translators who have a proven track record. All of the translations we complete come with a two-step quality assurance process. This includes both a translator review, as well as a final editorial check.
While we strive for perfection here at Lingo Nova in all the work we complete, please be advised that unfortunately we can not guarantee that all our translations will be completely free of errors, and we ask our clients to ensure they review and approve all final documents carefully.

6. Intellectual property

Throughout the process at Lingo Nova clients shall retain all ownership of all deliverables and original documents.
By submitting documents for translation, clients grant Lingo Nova a non-exclusive and worldwide license to use the materials solely for the purpose of providing the services.
Lingo Nova and its translators will waive any moral rights to the translated content upon final delivery and acceptance.

7. Refunds and revisions

Clients may request revisions within 14 days of delivery in the event the work does not meet the agreed specifications.
When submitting any revision requests, these must be provided in writing with clear guidance as to where the revisions are to be made.
In the unlikely event we fail to reasonably address and revision requests, clients may be eligible for a partial or full refund of the services, to be issued at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lingo Nova’s liability under these terms is limited to the total amount which has been paid by the client for the relevant services.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including any loss of profits or business interruption.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement if the other materially breaches these terms and fails to cure these within seven days of written notices.
Upon termination, clients will receive all completed work and refunds for any unperformed services.

10. Amendments

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. We will notify clients via email of any significant changes which have been made to these terms and conditions, but urge clients to make sure that they check back to this page regularly to ensure they are familiar with the latest version of these terms and conditions.
